Obedience Courses
Obedience 1

Obedience 1
In Obedience 1 you will learn all of the important manners and skills you and your furry family member will need to live a happy healthy life. This course covers fun new ways to exercise and entertain your dog as well as basic skills such as sit, down, come, leave it, drop it, stay, and leash manners.
This course is open to adolescent and adult dogs ages 5 months and older.
After completing this course, your dog will be eligible to continue their training in Obedience 2 or to start tackling obstacles in Agility 1!

Agility 1
5 Week Course

Agility 1
In Agility 1 we focus on introducing our pups to agility equipment, learning and practicing shaping techniques, and how to focus when in a distracting environment. We will be using these skills to master the straight jump, hoop, and tunnel.
This course has a pre-requisite of
Obedience 1 or Obedience 1 (Puppy)
Dogs who have already done obedience training at home or with another trainer may be eligible to skip Obedience 1.

Agility Courses - Advanced
Obedience 2
5 Week Course

Obedience 2
After learning basic manners and skills in Obedience 1, it's time to start improving and working on stimulus control! In this course we will learn how to use the "3 D's" to improve all of your pups current skills. We will also expand your dog's skillset with commands such as; go to your mark, spin, crawl, and sit pretty.
This course has a pre-requisite of Obedience 1
Dogs who have already done obedience training at home or with another trainer may be eligible to skip Obedience 1.

Obedience 3
Now that your dog knows all of the basics, you can combine the "3 D's" into one training exercise.
In this course we work on our dog's ability to focus on us no matter what is going on, pulling our dogs out of fun or distracting environments quickly and easily, as well as teaching "All Done" to let our dogs know when they are done focusing and can go back to being a dog.
This course has a pre-requisite of Obedience 2
Dogs who have already done obedience training at home or with another trainer may be eligible to skip Obedience 2.

In Obedience 4 we put everything you and your pup have learned over the past 3 courses together for a fun competition class. Over the first four weeks we will learn to play different games including musical chairs, go find, recall races, red light green light, and last one standing. In the final week all dogs and their handlers will compete in all of the games learned in this course.
All friendly dogs age 5 months and older are welcome.
There is a prerequisite of Obedience 3 for this course.

Agility 2
After completing Agility 1 your dog is ready to begin improving their skills with known obstacles and begin the process of learning how to conquer new ones!
In this class, you will learn how to use "The 3 D's" to polish your dog's skills on all known obstacles. We will also introduce your dog to the weave poles, and learn how to smoothly run through multiple obstacles at a time.
This course has a pre-requisite of Agility 1

Obedience 4
In Obedience 4 we put everything you and your pup have learned over the past 3 courses together for a fun competition class. Over the first 4 weeks you will learn to play different games including musical chairs, go find, recall races, red light green light, and last one standing.
All graduates of this course will be awarded the title of Expert Learner.
Additionally, for the final week of this course all dogs and their handlers will compete in a series of games for the title of Goodest Learner!

Does your dog pull on leash? Do they anchor down and wait to say hi to every dog the comes by? Do they pick up everything they can get their mouths on during your walks? Impulse Control
Does your dog get overly excited when guests arrive at your apartment? Are they relentless when it comes to begging for food at the dinner table? Do they jump on everyone they meet? Then you may need to take our impulse control intensive. During this intensive you and your pup will learn how to better communicate to prevent them from feeling the need to be pushy in order to get what they want.

Does your dog seem to forget their name at the dog park? Are you looking to attend off leash hours in Central Park but aren't confident your dog is ready? Then our recall intensive is for you.

Agility 3
Agility 3 introduces your dog to their first contact obstacle, the A-frame. This class focuses on building your dog's confidence and balance with the A-frame to prepare them for their final obstacle in Agility 4, the teeter-totter.
We will also continue to improve your dog's ability to seamlessly complete all of their known obstacles in a single run.

Agility 4
5 Week Course

Agility 4
Our final Agility class introduces your dog to our final obstacle, the teeter-totter. This class focuses on improving your dog's ability to quickly and confidently follow your lead through our complete Agility course to prepare them for their final exam.
During the final week of this class, all participants will compete in a timed race through the entire course.
All graduates of this course will be awarded the title of Expert Jumper.
The winner of the final exam race will be crowned that class's Goodest Jumper.

Puppy Obedience
5 Independent Lessons
$80 each or $360 for all 5
Puppy Obedience
Our Puppy Obedience class is a series of 5 independent lessons. Puppies are welcome to take as many or as few classes as you'd like, and students are welcome to join starting with any of our 5 lessons.
We sanitize our play area before each lesson, and only allow puppies to attend, so our Puppy Obedience class is safe for puppies that have not yet completed their vaccinations.
