We offer a variety of puppy training options catered to all kinds of puppy owners, from brand new dog owners with their first puppy, to long-time dog owners raising a young puppy for the first time, to experienced dog and puppy owners who just need a safe place to socialize their new pup.

Puppy Socials
One of the most important things a puppy needs to learn is how to socialize and communicate with other dogs. Healthy play skills, bite inhibition, corrections, reading social cues... young puppies have a lot to learn about how to make and keep friends, and all of these skills become harder and harder to learn as a dog grows older.
We believe so strongly in the importance of every puppy having the opportunity to learn these skills, that we offer our Puppy Social for FREE for all puppies 5 months and younger.
We only allow puppies to attend our Puppy Social and sanitize our play area before every social, so it's safe for young puppies to attend, even if they haven't completed their immunizations yet.
Puppy Social is held at our facility at 79th and Broadway on the UWS Friday nights from 7:00pm to 8:00pm.
All puppies 8 weeks to 5 months old are welcome to attend our social, regardless of breed or vaccination status. Reserve your spot today!
Puppy Obedience
Our Puppy Obedience Group Class is a series of 5 independent lessons held in a 5 week cycle. Puppies are welcome to take as many or as few classes as you'd like, and students are welcome to start with any of our 5 lessons.
Puppy Obedience is held Tuesday nights from 7:00pm-8:00pm. If you'd like to know which class we're offering next, please EMAIL US.
We sanitize our play area before each lesson, and only allow puppies to attend, so our Puppy Obedience class is safe for puppies that have not yet completed their vaccinations.
Lesson 1 - Recall

Recall is more than just calling your puppy back to you while they're off-leash, it's an important safety skill to call back your pup if their harness breaks, and a way to capture their focus when you need to redirect them.
Lesson 2 - Sit/Down

A pair of core commands every puppy should learn. If your puppy already understands the basics of sit and down, this lesson will focus on teaching them how to recognize the command with just your voice (no hand signal)
Lesson 3 - Leave it/Take it

Another safety skill. Puppies love to chew and eat most anything. This lesson focuses on commands that let your puppy know what is and is not safe to investigate, chew, and eat.
Lesson 4 - Leash Skills

This lesson focuses on anchoring (refusing to walk), pulling (refusing to stop), ground grazing, and greetings while on leash.
Lesson 5 - Stay

Before taking this lesson, your puppy should understand sit, down, or a similar command. This lesson focuses on upgrading these basic commands into the Stay command so your puppy can be asked to stay put while you're busy with risky activities like opening the front door or carrying a heavy box.
Puppies that complete all 5 lessons are considered graduates of our Obedience 1 group class and are eligible to continue their training in Obedience 2, or to start tackling obstacles in Agility 1.
This course is open to all friendly dogs between 8 weeks and 6 months old. For puppies older than 6 months, we recommend our Obedience 1 group class instead. Click HERE to go to our group class page.

Private Puppy Training
Private Puppy Training plans are perfect for parents that have specific behaviors they would like to train, want to learn our most advanced lessons as soon as possible, need extra help reinforcing things like potty training, can't make our group classes, or just plain prefer private training in their home over group classes at our facility.
Our private training plans begin with an Initial Consultation, a 1 hour 15 minute meeting between you, your pup, and our trainer, where we'll assess your pup, discuss your goals, and teach you some basic training techniques you can start using immediately. After the consultation, we'll draft a custom training plan for you and your dog.
For soon-to-be puppy owners that would like some help preparing their home and their family for their new puppy, we are able to conduct your Initial Consultation before your puppy comes home.
Our training plans consist of 1 hour Private Sessions between you, your dog, and our trainer. Some plans also include supplementary Solo Sessions just between your dog and our trainer. The exact duration and cost of your plan depends on the extent of your goals and will be determined by the Initial Consultation.
